Let the classic tales of Peter Rabbit inspire the theme of your children’s table setting and style it white for attending adults. Begin by layering white tableware as a foundation, such as Gio or Intaglio, and then add more colourful collections on top to add interesting accents (Peter Rabbit or Wonderlust plates add a wonderfully playful touch).

For children: A Peter Rabbit party

Children love a classic tale – so why not style your Easter tea party around Beatrix Potter’s famous rabbit, Peter! We think this blue, pink and white colour scheme is perfect for children of all ages. Style the table with Wedgwood’s Peter Rabbit collection and bake some Peter Rabbit cakes to enjoy with caffeine-free tea or cordial. For the décor, add bunting, mixed colour balloons, dainty flowers in pots and Peter Rabbit toys for little ones. Jasper Folia Mini Pots are fantastic for adding small blooms to your Easter table, or create a beautiful centrepiece with a Magnolia Blossom Vase filled with spring flowers.

For adults: A simple white table setting

If you’re inviting adults to the tea party too, create a simple Easter table setting using Wedgwood’s White Tableware collections. Layered on crisp white linen, with white flower arrangements and fruit – it’s a tea party look inspired by spring and nature. Don’t forget to add a sweet gift of sugared almonds or mini milk chocolate eggs as a special table gift.

Easter tea party games

Keep children entertained with these easy tea party game ideas – all inspired by the Easter bunny and the tales of Peter Rabbit.

Egg hunt

Let children design the eggs first by setting up a creative corner. Here, you can fill Peter Rabbit teacups and bowls with crayons, paints and plain wooden or foam eggs to decorate. Once everyone has created an egg, place them around the house or garden for children to hunt and win chocolate prizes.

Draw Peter Rabbit

Inspire little ones with the tales of Peter Rabbit by reading one of Beatrix Potter’s famous books. Once you’ve read a chapter or two, ask children to draw some of the characters and objects from the scene. Make sure to provide plenty of big sheets of paper and big chalks for little hands.

Guess how many

Fill a Peter Rabbit Teacup or Teapot with sweets for a guess how many game. Ask children to write down their guess. Let everyone share the sweets and the winner receives a milk chocolate egg.

And for the adults - blind tea test

Brew a few different teas and serve to blindfolded players and see who can guess the flavours they are sipping. They can score points for each correct guess, or eliminate players who guess incorrectly and keep playing until only one person remains.
