Every piece of Florentine fine bone china is handcrafted by our craftspeople in Stoke-on-Trent, England – the home of Wedgwood.

Inspiration behind design

A Phoenix rising from the flames symbolising rebirth and renewal. A wistful dolphin representing harmony and wellbeing. A soaring winged Pegasus possessing the power of immortality. A Griffin, noble guardian of the exquisite. And a commanding Dragon bringing good fortune and luck to those who own one. Each of these carefully chosen creatures perfectly honour 150 years of Florentine’s magical beasts.

Discover Florentine Colours

The Florentine pattern was first introduced by Wedgwood in 1874, with its most famous iteration being produced in 1931 – the much-loved Florentine Turquoise. Fast-forward 150 years and we have created five brand-new colours to revive this iconic fine bone china dinnerware collection – Citron, Verde, Salmon, Marine and Fuchsia. This expertly crafted collection is made in England and comes in fresh new modern colourways – a celebration of myths, legends and fantasy.
