Explore the story behind the pattern

Our expertly skilled in-house designer, Gwyn, drew inspiration from nature, botanicals and the Wedgwood archive to hand-draw these artistic patterns. Carefully adding creatures into these little worlds of wonder that evoke a feeling of discovery, so that every time you see the pattern something new pops out to greet you. Gwyn has been a Wedgwood designer for ten years, located at our home in Barlaston. She draws inspiration from colour, design and textile trends, while also maintaining the strong bond to our heritage through exploring the expansive Wedgwood archive.
