Robert Dawson delved into Wedgwood's vast archive and took J Mollart's 1806 Willow pattern and Allen Hordley's 1832 Landscape pattern. The latter consists of a number of different scenes enclosed within the same floral border. Robert then magnified the patterns and chose sections, often with a distorted perspective, to create provocative, fascinating and very collectable plates.
