Helen Buckley
After more than 16 years working with Coalport, Helen has generated an impressive spread of figurines. These reflect her continuing delight in combining her two passions - fashion and ceramics. They include limited editions, Ladies of Fashion and the leading edge Couture Collection. Helen has worked on several substantial research projects for Coalport.
Lisa Couperthwaite
Lisa studied three-dimensional design and ceramics at the University of Central Lancashire. In her third year, her illustrations won a Coalport new talent competition - and we commissioned her to design Moments, a collection that ranges from love pairs to owls and superb stately swans.
Sue McGarrigle
As well as co-running the 'Old Foundry' gallery in East Anglia, Sue is a skilled musician and an extraordinarily versatile artist. Her work ranges from designs for greeting cards and cross-stitch kits to figurines of 1940s evacuees for the Imperial War Museum. This protean scope is expressed in Coaport designs that encompass magical cottages, the 'A Flower for My Lady' tableau and the limited edition figurines for both the Classical heroines and Language of Flowers Collections.
